Submit your paperwork electronically!

As a GYC this year, we are trying to be a little more "technologically savvy" as well as a little more "environmentally friendly!" As such, all of our steps can be viewed from this blog and you can submit your evaluation forms electronically. The outline for each step is titled Step #1, #2, respectively. By clicking these links you will access a pdf of the step. Then, under each step, you will find a google form that you can fill out for your evaluation. We will talk more about this at our meeting in October! In the meantime, try it out!

Ribbon Run 2012

The GYC will be helping again this year with the annual Ribbon Run held at Cedar Ridge Middle School, 65 North 200 West in Hyde Park. The race will be held on Oct 13, 2012 (Saturday) and GYC should plan on helping from 8AM until 10 AM. Please meet by the south doors. We need only 2 reps from each school. You will be given a t-shirt for volunteering! See you then!

GYC 2012-2013 "Be the Voice"

The Bear River Governing Youth Council will "Be the Voice" in 2012-2013 as we unite together to become advocates at school and in our community. This year we will be focusing on the influence of advertising on a youth's decision to use tobacco and alcohol. We will also be establishing a referral process called anonymoustips.com that schools can use to become more informed of alcohol, tobacco, drug, bullying issues at their school. We have a lot of great things planned and are looking forward to another successful school year.
